Caring for our Tiniest Patients
St. Joe's is the hospital where more than 50 percent of all the babies born in Hamilton start their lives. We're also one of only four Hospitals in Ontario with a Baby-Friendly designation from the World Health
Organization. When you purchase a ticket in the Hope, Health and Holiday Wishes 50/50 Lottery, you'll be helping to ensure our tiniest patients are receiving the very best care as they are welcomed into the world.
A National Leader in Robotic Surgery in the Heart of Hamilton
St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton is a national leader in robotic surgery which is helping patients living with cancers of the head, neck, chest, lungs, kidney, bladder and prostate. Robotic surgeries result in smaller
incisions that heal faster and scar less, meaning less time spent in the Hospital. But robotic surgery is not yet funded by the province, so this cutting-edge care is only made possible by the support of our community.
Not all Superheroes Wear Capes
Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic, the staff at St. Joe's have been nothing short of superheroes, risking their own lives to care for the well-being of others. By working with the community, we're raising funds to help
purchase much needed personal protective equipment and supplies that will help our Hospital team to combat and contain the second wave of the COVID-19 virus.
